How To Wear a Condom: Condoms As Part of Love Making

January 18th, 2010

Most have heard the arguments against using condoms – some even claim that they put a damper on the lustiness, but there are sexy ways of incorporating condoms into your repertoire between the sheets. All any couple needs are a good attitude and a bit of creativity – two things that should come easily to most bedrooms. Putting on a condom can be a natural part of lovemaking, and perhaps even a bit of a turn on.

Many couples take part in non-penetrative foreplay, and often they don’t bother putting on the condom until just before insertion. This ritual is effective – but couples should remember that both sperm and STDs can be transmitted without actual intercourse. If things tend to get a bit heated during foreplay, condoms should be introduced a bit earlier on.

A creative way to introduce condoms is to actually incorporate them into sex play. A sexy method of applying a condom involves stroking the penis until it is fully erect while at the same time lubricating it, and then slipping the condom on. Putting on a condom can actually be both erotic and exciting for both parties involved.

In order to make sex with a condom all the more enjoyable, two factors should be considered: communication between partners and adequate lubrication. By communicating with each other, couples can make certain that they are consistently using condoms, and therefore protecting against unwanted pregnancies and STDs.  Using sufficient lubrication makes the whole experience more pleasurable, and subsequently condom use much more likely.

NB: No method of contraception guarantees 100% protection
